01

Send a deletion request

Email team@usecindy.com with the subject “Cindy data deletion request.”

Include enough information to locate the records:

  • Your name and the email address or phone number associated with the information.
  • The business or agency using Cindy, and your relationship to it.
  • What you want deleted: your account, a website demo request, particular lead or conversation records, or data imported from a connected service.
  • If relevant, the connected Facebook Page, Instagram account, ad account, or approximate dates of the interactions. Include identifiers only if you already know them.

Do not send passwords, access tokens, or identity documents with your initial request. If you contacted a home-service business that uses Cindy, you may also request deletion directly from that business.

02

How requests are handled

The request needs to be matched to the relevant records and your identity or authority verified before data is removed. For information managed on behalf of a business or agency, that organization may need to participate in the request.

Deleting a sign-in account and deleting a business’s CRM records are different actions. Shared account membership, appointment history, messages, and connected-provider records may require separate handling. Specify whether you want the account closed, particular data removed, or both.

There is no self-service, account-wide deletion tool in the current application. Requests require operational review. Timing depends on the records, verification, and any applicable retention requirements. Contact us for the status of your request.

03

Disconnecting Meta

Disconnecting access and deleting imported data are separate steps.

Revoking permission addresses future access. A deletion request addresses records already held by Cindy.

The Meta integration is still being built. If you have granted the Cindy app access through testing or once it becomes available, remove Cindy through the connected Meta account’s app or business integration settings. This revokes the relevant authorization; features relying on that authorization can no longer make new authorized requests. If several accounts or people granted access, review each relevant connection.

Previously imported campaign reports, lead-form submissions, contact records, and conversations are not automatically erased by revoking access. To request their removal, follow the email instructions above and identify the connected account and data involved. Cindy’s Meta App ID is 2109578926303608.

04

Stored copies and limits

Active CRM records, website inquiries, operational logs, backups, and records held by connected providers are separate stores. Removing an active record does not mean every backup or provider-held copy disappears immediately. No universal automatic deletion period is configured for all Cindy data.

Any information that must remain because of an applicable obligation or a business’s authorized instructions needs to be identified during review. Deleting information held by Cindy does not delete your Meta account, information held by Meta itself, or copies independently kept or exported by a business or agency. Contact those organizations about their copies.

Read the privacy policy for the data categories and services involved. For help identifying the information in your request, contact team@usecindy.com.
